In this  film he set out on a journey to find the fountain of youth.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> Jerry Bruckheimer<\/strong> produced film is being directed by\u00a0<strong>Rob Marshall<\/strong>. The film&#8217;s cast includes\u00a0<strong>Johnny Depp <\/strong>as<strong> <\/strong>Captain Jack Sparrow,<strong> <\/strong><strong>Ian McShane <\/strong>who will play Edward Teach, a.k.a. Blackbeard the Pirate,\u00a0<strong>Penelope Cruz <\/strong>as Blackbeard\u2019s daughter, \u201cSparrow\u2019s foil and equal in many ways\u201d, and French Actress\u00a0<strong>Astrid Berg\u00e8s-Frisbey<\/strong> who will play a beautiful young mermaid named Syrena.\u00a0<strong>Stephen Graham <\/strong>(<em>Public Enemies Gangs of New York, Band of Brothers<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Snatch<\/em>) will be \u201cScrum, a Machiavellian pirate,\u201d who\u2019ll be \u201ca sidekick to Johnny Depp\u2019s Captain Jack Sparrow.\u201d British actor\u00a0<strong>Sam Claflin<\/strong> (<em>The Pillars of the Earth in Budapest<\/em>) will \u201cstar in the key role of Philip, a youthful missionary.\u201d\u00a0<em>Rolling Stones<\/em> guitarist\u00a0<strong>Keith Richards<\/strong> has filmed a return as Sparrow\u2019s father: Captain Teague.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Richard Griffiths <\/strong><em>(Withnail &amp; I, Harry Potter<\/em> films) plays King George II.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Official Plot Synopsis for the film:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise,  Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a\u00a0woman\u00a0from his past (Penelope  Cruz), and he\u2019s not sure if it\u2019s love\u2013or if she\u2019s a ruthless con artist  who\u2019s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth.
