Apologies for the confusion!] During this hour we were honored to have on the phone with us Peter Stolmeier<\/strong> (and his alter-ego, Wheldon Smiley<\/a>) from the AFO staff and the mastermind behind Wacko Media<\/a> to talk about this year\u2019s edition of Anime Festival Orlando<\/strong> and all that it has in store for its attendees. We\u2019ll be there covering the convention on Friday and Saturday, as will our friends the Anime Addicts Anonymous Podcast<\/a>, who will be hosting three panels<\/a> over the course of the weekend that you won\u2019t want to miss. Whether it\u2019s the AFO Game Room and Game Show Room<\/strong>, the Skies of Orlandia<\/a> LARP, Sleeping Samurai<\/a>\u2019s \u201cWhack-a-Nerd\u201d event, or the many panels and guests attending this year\u2019s AFO, there\u2019s going to be something to enjoy for every anime fan, so make plans to attend, if you haven\u2019t already, and we hope to see you there! Speaking of the Anime Addicts Anonymous Podcast<\/a>, this episode features for the first time ever AAA Podcast hosts Mitsugi and Chiaki<\/a><\/strong> in studio with us for both episodes we broadcast last Saturday night. During this first hour we get to hear from them a bit about their experiences at MetroCon<\/a>, the anime convention in Tampa that ran a few weeks back, as well as their thoughts on this summer\u2019s latest season of anime<\/a>. Due to time constraints we only got to really talk about a few of the shows, such as Mitsudomoe<\/a>, High School of the Dead<\/a>, Kuroshitsuji 2<\/a>, and Occult Academy<\/a>, but all three of us have lots to say about them, so do check that segment out.<\/p>\n

We wrap up the hour with a review of some decidedly Western animation, Batman: Under the Red Hood<\/a>\"\". Adapted for the screen from the 2005-2006 Batman story \u201cUnder the Hood<\/a>\"\"\u201d by original story writer Judd Winick<\/a>, this latest DC Universe Animated Collection<\/a> release from Warner Premiere features the voice talents of Bruce Greenwood<\/a> as Batman, Jensen Ackles<\/a> as the Red Hood, Neil Patrick Harris<\/a> as Nightwing, and John Dimaggio<\/a> as the Joker.
