Only one week after the first class action lawsuit was filed against Sony due to their massive security breach resulting  in a\u00a0 PlayStation Network outage, a second one has been filed in Canada  for the amount of $1 billion. Toronto law firm McPhadden Samac  Tuovi LLP is filing against Sony Japan, Sony USA, Sony Canada, and  &#8220;other Sony entities&#8221;, saying that due to breach of privacy Sony must  pay their client for the &#8220;costs of credit monitoring services and fraud  insurance coverage for two years&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Their client is a young lady named Natasha Maksimovic, a 21-year-old  from Mississauga. Maksimovic said in a statement, &#8220;If you can&#8217;t trust a  huge multi-national corporation like Sony to protect your private  information, who can you trust?&#8221; and went on to say, &#8220;It appears to me  that Sony focuses more on protecting its games than its PlayStation  users.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.g4tv.com\/thefeed\/blog\/post\/712367\/sony-being-sued-for-1-billion-over-psn-data-theft\/#ixzz1LPAEggjm\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Things just keep getting worse for Sony.
