Enterprise<\/em>, which later just became Star Trek:\u00a0Enterprise<\/em><\/strong> hit the airwaves back in 2001 and was planned to be the next big franchise in the Star Trek<\/em><\/strong> universe with plans of a long TV run and then on to the big screen.\u00a0Scott Bakula<\/strong> who played Captain Jonathan Archer who was the captain of the very first starship Enterprise, the NX-01\u00a0recently revealed this news during his appearance at Germany’s FedCon.<\/p>\n

We [Enterprise] were going to be the next movie franchise. Going in that’s what we were told.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bakula went on to talk about the revitalized success that J.J. Abrams<\/strong> introduced into the Star Trek<\/em> universe and even said how cool it was to have Admiral Archer mentioned in the reboot. He also was asked about maybe appearing once again down the line.<\/p>\n
