She will producer at least two more <em>Terminator<\/em> films. <em>Fast Five <\/em>director <strong>Justin Lin<\/strong> is officially attached to helm the project, and <strong>Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/strong> is officially attached to star.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently Lionsgate was close to winning the rights until Ellis and  her Ellison&#8217;s Annapurna Films swooped in an made the winning bid. It&#8217;s  speculated that they dropped a cool $20 million for the rights. Ellis is  also producing upcoming film projects\u00a0<em>Cogan&#8217;s Trade<\/em> with Bad Pitt, \u00a0Paul Thomas Anderson&#8217;s\u00a0<em>The Master, <\/em>and\u00a0is also financing the Katherine Bigalow (<em>The Hurt Locker<\/em>) film about the hunt for Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Megan Ellis, the producer of\u00a0True Grit has won an auction for the rights of the Terminator franchise.
