{"id":3787,"date":"2011-05-29T23:55:57","date_gmt":"2011-05-30T03:55:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.geekworldordersite.com\/blog\/?p=3787"},"modified":"2011-05-30T12:58:08","modified_gmt":"2011-05-30T16:58:08","slug":"students-banned-from-high-school-graduation-because-of-lightsaber-battle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.geekworldordersite.com\/blog\/2011\/05\/students-banned-from-high-school-graduation-because-of-lightsaber-battle\/","title":{"rendered":"Students Banned From High School Graduation Because of Lightsaber Battle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A pair of high-school seniors have been suspended and may not be allowed to walk during their graduation ceremony after staging a mock lightsaber duel senior prank between the two of them in the school&#8217;s cafeteria during  lunch.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;So one kid walked in from one side of the lunchroom and  another one to the other side, and he called him out in a fight&#8230;And  they pulled out their saber toys and in a joking manner proceeded to  fight for a solid, like, 30 seconds,&#8221; said Kevin Carr.<br \/>\n&#8220;Everybody laughed at it&#8230;gave them a standing ovation. Nobody saw it as a big deal,&#8221; said Carr.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a big deal to administrators.
