Eliza Dushku<\/strong> has officially signed on to star in a new Torchwood animated spinoff web-series. This is an animated motion comics series called To<\/em>rchwood: Web of Lies<\/em>, and it’s based on Starz upcoming series\u00a0Torchwood: Miracle Day<\/em>. The animated series will also include voice appearances by\u00a0Torchwood <\/em>stars John Barrowman<\/strong> as Capt. Jack Harkness and Eve Myles<\/strong> as Gwen Cooper.<\/p>\n

The new series is being written by Jane Espenson<\/strong>, who has worked with Dushku on\u00a0Dollhouse<\/em> and\u00a0Buffy <\/em>the Vampire Slayer. <\/em>She’s also worked on <\/em>Battlestar Galactica<\/em> and\u00a0Torchwood.<\/em> Ryan Scott<\/strong> is also a co-writer on the series.<\/p>\n

The series will consist of 10 three-minute videos, and will be released before the Torchwood<\/em> premiere on July 8th. The plan is to release a new episode online after each new\u00a0Miracle Day<\/em> episode.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
