Two new actors have joined the cast of John Chu<\/strong>‘s G.I. Joe<\/em><\/strong> sequel for Paramount. THR reports that the rapper-turned-actor\u00a0RZA <\/strong>and D.J. Cotrona <\/strong>(Detroit 1-8-7<\/em>) are in negotiations to star in the\u00a0Lorenzo di Bonaventura<\/strong>-produced action movie. They would join the cast that already includes other newcomers\u00a0Dwayne Johnson <\/strong>and Elodie Yung <\/strong>to the franchise.<\/p>\n

Cotrona would fill the role of Flint, “a Joe soldier best known in the toyline and 1980s comics for his shotgun and beret.”\u00a0RZA will play “a martial arts master named the Blind Master who in the past trained Joe commandoes Snake-Eyes and Jinx (Yung).”\u00a0RZA has had roles in American Gangster, The Next Three Days<\/strong> <\/em>and Repo Men<\/strong><\/em>, and stars as the lead in\u00a0The Man with the Iron Fists<\/strong><\/em> with\u00a0Russell Crowe<\/strong>.
