The SyFy Channel has announced their plans for Comic-Con 2011.<\/p>\n

Here’s the full announcement with all of the details:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In continuing with its yearly tradition of delivering the ultimate fan experience at Comic-Con \u2013 and winding down the convention with the hottest party of the entire weekend \u2013 <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong> has unveiled its plans for participation at Comic-Con 2011.<\/p>\n

As in years past, a multitude of talent from <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong>\u2019s hottest series will participate in interactive panels, where fans can get their burning questions answered and get all the behind-the-scenes secrets on their favorite shows!\u00a0 On <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong>\u2019s docket for this year are hit <\/em>Warehouse 13<\/em>, <\/em>Eureka<\/em>, <\/em>Being Human<\/em> and <\/em>Sanctuary<\/em>, as well as new series <\/em>Alphas<\/em>, (premiering July 11 @ 10pm).\u00a0 <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong> will also hold a screening on Friday night (July 22), where fans can get an early sneak-peek of that evening\u2019s new episode of <\/em>Haven<\/em> as well as the following Monday\u2019s new episode of <\/em>Eureka<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Outside of the convention hall, attendees will once again get a taste of all things <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong> at the fan-favorite Caf\u00e9 Diem, across the street from the convention center at the Hard Rock\u00a0 Hotel (207 5th<\/sup> Ave).\u00a0 This fictional local hot spot heavily featured in the popular series <\/em>Eureka<\/em> will serve up <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong> fare both on and off the menu and will remain the perfect place for fans to relax and refuel during a long day at the Con.<\/p>\n

In addition, <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong> Ventures, <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong>\u2019s portfolio of businesses and joint ventures, and Her Universe\u2122, a leader in female genre merchandise, will unveil the first pieces in the <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong> branded collection of apparel and accessories for the growing female science fiction fan base.\u00a0 Comic-Con will be the premier venue for the first launch items, including convention exclusives, starting July 20 and running through July 24. Additionally, the items will be available at both <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong>.com and Heruniverseshop.com.<\/p>\n

As previously announced, On Saturday, July 24th<\/sup>, <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong> will partner with entertainment powerhouse <\/strong>E!<\/strong> for its most popular Comic-Con event: the star-studded party at the Hotel Solamar in the heart of the Gaslamp district.\u00a0 This invite-only, exclusive soiree has cemented its place as the hottest ticket at the convention and the most talked-about party of the weekend, and this year is no different as <\/strong>Syfy<\/strong> teams up with E! to continue the tradition.\u00a0 <\/em>E! Live from the Red Carpet: The Syfy\/E! Comic Con Party<\/em> will stream the festivities in real time on both E! Online and Syfy.com, with E!\u2019s <\/strong>Ben Lyons<\/strong> and <\/strong>Jael de Pardo<\/strong> (Syfy<\/strong>\u2019s <\/em>Fact or Faked<\/em>) as co-hosts.<\/p>\n
