The announcement is official. Marvel<\/a> has decided not to renew its hit series Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes<\/em><\/a> for a third season. There had been rumors going around for a while that the show would not be picked up for next season. These rumors come despite the fact that the show was critically well received and a very popular show among its fanbase.<\/p>\n

The announcement came via a press release that came from Marvel Animation<\/a> earlier this week.<\/p>\n

The Avengers<\/a>: Earth\u2019s Mightiest Heroes\u201d won\u2019t be renewed for the 3rd Season. Marvel<\/a> Animation will present their newly developed series \u201cMarvel\u2019s Avengers Assemble\u201d in 2013.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yes, Marvel has apparently decided to scrap the series in favor of developing a new Avengers cartoon. The Avengers Assemble<\/em> series will replace Earth’s Mightiest Heroes<\/em>.<\/p>\n
