Marvel’s CGI Short Film Starring Spider-Man, Iron Man & Hulk

Released last year to promote Marvel Comics products, this video left many fans wondering if the company would attempt to create a full CGI feature film for the silver screen.

Marvel Inc. has plenty of both small and big screen properties on their resume. Over the past decade, live action films such as the Spider-Man, X-Men and Blade trilogies as well as two Fantastic Four, Hulk and Iron Man films have hit theaters; with Captain America, Thor and The Avengers currently being prepped for their theatrical debut. On the television side, the company has recently launched The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon and an Ultimate Spider-Man animated series is soon to follow. That’s not all, Marvel has also released a plethora of direct-to-video features, including Dr. Strange, Hulk vs Thor/Wolverine and two Ultimate Avengers films.

Now, with the recent partnership between Marvel and Disney, fans have begun to wonder whether a full-fledged, theatrically released animated movie may be in the company’s best interest; especially with the brilliant animation minds at Pixar right around the corner. The question now is, should the comics conglomerate attempt what many fans have been asking? In this short film, which acts more like a commercial for Marvel Comics, we get a sampling of what a CG Marvel film would feel like:
