AMC has released a trailer for season 3 of The Walking Dead. The new season will feature several new characters from the popular Image comic. which recently released its 100th issue. Michonne and The Governor. two of the more popular characters from the comic make their debuts in the highly rated AMC series.
Based on one of the most successful and popular comic books of all time, written by Robert Kirkman, AMC’s The Walking Dead captures the ongoing human drama following a zombie apocalypse. The series follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, who are traveling in search of a safe and secure home. However, instead of the zombies, it is the living who remain that truly become the walking dead.
Walking Dead season 3, which will feature a series high sixteen episodes for the season, will make its return to the small screen on October 14.
