I attended a historic weekend for NASCAR. Due to other road course races being cancelled due to the pandemic, NASCAR opted to use Daytona International Speedway’s road course as a make up race. NASCAR has never run this course that sports cars have been running for years. I spent the day watching the Truck series and the Cup series compete. Before the weekend, I hadn’t been to a NASCAR race in person since 2005.
