The Wonder Woman series is not happening.
David E. Kelley had crafted a somewhat new take on the Amazon princess that saw her living in L.A. as a corporate CEO by day and vigilante by night. The Hollywood Reporter says that the pilot had “the most buzz of any pilot this season,” but that unfortunately the buzz was all negative. The final nail in the coffin was a disastrous screening of the pilot for a test audience that hated what they saw.
Aside from Palicki, Wonder Woman also starred Cary Elwes, Tracie Thoms, and Elizabeth Hurley. Wonder if it will ever see the light of day, perhaps leaked online in some form…?
