Netflix Rolling Out New Pricing Plans

Netflix announced today that their  new pricing structure will split DVD and streaming subscriptions into separate tiers. The new pricing plans will be split to $7.99 unlimited streaming each month (this remains unchanged since their last pricing change), and $7.99 for a new plan offering only DVDs, limited to only one out at a time. In order to get both plans, subscribers will now have to pay $15.98. The bundle was priced starting at $9.99 for unlimited streaming and one DVD out at any given time.

For new members, this new pricing plan will be effective immediately, but current subscribers will be grandfathered in on the current price structure until September 1, 2011. Netflix is still one of the best ways to legally watch movies and television online. What do you guys think of the pricing change. Let us know.
