With The Amazing Spider-Man coming out next year, we knew that the main villain of the film was going to be The Lizard. Until now we have seen pictures of Rhys Ifans in his makeup as Dr. Conners, the human alter ego of the lizard. What we had not seen, was anything giving an indication as to how he would look as The Lizard.
That now changes thanks to the people who make Pez dispensers. Images have now surfaced online of the candy dispensers that will be released in connection with the movie. Shown are images of Spider-Man and The Lizard. While things can certainly change between now and next summer’s movie release, we do now have a good idea as to how The Lizard will look in the film once he has transformed.
Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man swings into 2D and 3D theaters on July 3, 2012. The movie stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field.
