Jurassic Park to Get 3D Treatment for 2013 Release

Steven Speilberg has been wowing audiences for years with cutting edge, breakthrough movies. It’s hard to belive that the Jurassic Park film series will be turning 20 years old next year, but that is exactly the case. The franchise was hailed a success as the original movie was a cinematic masterpiece in computer animation at the time and was also the number one grossing movie that year. Since then two sequels have come about and Jurassic Park has an entire area dedicated to it at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

The franchise will now see a rebirth of sorts as for its 20th anniversary, the original film will get a 3D treatment and a re-release in theaters. The re-release is scheduled to open on July 19, 2013. This is just a few weeks after Speilberg’s latest film, Robopocalypse, hits theaters.

The film surely promises to be a treat for all movie goers. Jurassic Park is heralded as one of the best movies of all time. A new generation of movie goers will be able to be wowed by the film in seeing on the big screen. This will be one not to pass up when it comes out.
