Orlando is known quite well for its vast number of geek centric conventions. One of those takes the spotlight this weekend. As we all know, Comic-Con is this weekend, but there is still something that locals of Florida can attend to get into the geeky spirit. Orlando Anime Day takes stage this weekend. The one day event is the second of two anime days that takes place each year.
The event will take place at the International Palms Resort & Convention Center at 6515 International Drive, Orlando, FL, 32819.

Anime Day Card Battle Game
The event provides an affordable day of activity for everyone. Entry into the event is only $3 and parking for the event if free. Also, in honor of the Fourth of July, military personnel and their families will be allowed in free with a valid military ID. Part of that entry fee will be donated to a local charity. This anime day will features donations going to the American Red Cross. Orlando Anime Day takes place this Saturday, July 14, from 9:30AM to 5:30PM.
