Jurassic Park 4 release date announced

It has been a long time coming for one of the most successful franchises in movie history. After languishing in developmental hell for years, Jurassic Park 4 is finally happening and we now have a release date. We will see the next installment of the Jurassic Park franchise in theaters on June 13, 2014.

What is known so far is that Steven Spielberg will be producing the film, but he will not be directing it. There is no director attached to the film as of now.

The script for the film was recently finished. The script was written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. The film will be shot and released in 3D. No details are known of the story so far.

2013 has been a great year for Jurassic Park. In addition to the next film being announced, the original cult classic that started it all is being rereleased in theaters this year. Jurassic Park will be seen in IMAX and 3D theaters on April 5th.
