If you’re anything like me, Tremors holds a special place in your heart. For me, it was one of my first examples of fun, cheesy B movies. A recently released photos confirms what many of us had hoped for years. There will be a fifth installment in the franchise. Michael Gross returns as Burt Gummer, the only cast member to have been in all four previous installments and the SyFy Channel series. He is now the de facto star of the series. He will be joined by a cast that includes Jamie Kennedy as his partner for this movie.
Back for the ride are the main creatures of the series: The Graboids. Along with their mutations Shreikers and AssBlasters. A press release has stated that a new form of the creatures will be introduced in the film. No firm date has been set for release as of yet. Principal photography began recently in South Africa and right now it is expected to be released straight to Blu-Ray/DVD in 2016.
