In the second big bit of news from Google today, they are now offering movie rentals from the Anroid Market. The prices start at $1.99, but most of the films are offered for $3.99. Not only can usesers stream movies, they can “pin” a title for download in the background to enjoy later.
The service is currently available to downoad to browsers, but it’s coming soon for Android tablets and phones. Honeycomb 3.1 will be the first tablet app which is heading out to the Xoom soon. Phones running 2.2 are said to be getting it “in a few weeks.” Check out the Android Market and check out the movies available.
