PlayStation Phone Release Date Announced

The Xperia Play, also known as the “PlayStation phone,” will be released in the USA on May 26. The Verizon powered Android phone will retail for $199 with a two-year contract that’s $29.99 a month with a data plan. But unlike any other phone, it comes with a ton of games installed for free.

  • Asphalt 6: Adrenaline
  • Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior
  • Crash Bandicoot (PlayStation original)
  • Madden NFL 11
  • Star Battalion
  • The Sims 3
  • Tetris

Along with these titles, a full library of 50 donwloadable games, including ports of PSOne gamess, will be available on the phone. It has a touchscreen, a slide-out-panel, and the PlayStation style controller you see above. Pretty cool phone, eh?
