Craigslist has been known for some rather odd dealings over the years. There have been ads for children being sold, drug deals, and even prostitution. While not comparing to some of those, A woman in Logan, Utah has raised some attention this week as she listed her husband after he became obsessed with the recent release game, Modern Warfare 3.
Alyse Bradley, who’s husband Kyle had just returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan began spending a lot of time playing the game after its release and less time with his wife. She became highly annoyed by this. Alyse contends she only made the listing as a joke with her posting of “One Husband To The Highest Bidder”.
They were very surprised when the responses started coming in. They received joke offers and requests for further information and photographs of the husband. A number of responders also sent in legitimate emails with concerns for the couple’s marriage.
The Bradleys enjoyed some laughs from the responses and now that Kyle has finished the game, things seem to be returning to normal in their household.
