Playstation Vita Launch Titles Announced

With the upcoming launch of the Playstation Vita on February 22 in North America, we now know what tittles will be available for the handheld on launch day. Sony has announced the names of the 25 games that will be available on launch day. They also say they have more than 100 other titles still in development.

The  launch lineup is as follows:

F1 2011 (Codemasters)
Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational (Sony)
Hustle Kings (Sony, download only)

Lumines Electronic Symphony (Ubisoft)
Michael Jackson: The Experience (Ubisoft)
ModNation Racers: Road Trip (Sony)
Plants vs. Zombies (SOE, download only)

With some being physical games and others being downloads, game prices will range from $9.99 to $49.99. Sony also announced that every PS Vita system will ship with six AR Play Cards and one download voucher, good for several “AR Play” minigames. Sony also announced another 10 titles as “launch window titles”. This means they will be available within the first quarter year of the system being available.
