It looks like there’s a possibility that Troy Duffy‘s action cult film Boondock Saints is going to get a TV series adaptation which could be kind of cool depending on how much you liked the movies.
Duffy revealed the news in a recent interview We Got This Covered. He say that he’s been talking with network executives about the project. No one has officially picked it up yet, but Duffy wants pushing to get it on a network like HBO or AMC so that he can go all out with it, and stay as faithful to the tone, violence and setting of the movies as possible.
Oh, and in case you were wondering Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery are expected to reprise their roles. Here’s what Duffy said in the interview,
We’ve been approached to do a possible Boondock Saints TV series. So the fans may be getting a part 3 as a television show. We might be able to pull that off…. I actually called both Sean and Norman and they both said “hell yeah, we’ll drop everything.”
